My name is Daniel Glass, and I am a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College Class of 2016, majoring in Government and focusing my studies on Middle Eastern Culture and Politics.During my time in college, I was an Executive Board member of Zeta Chapter of the Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity as the House Management Chair as well as on the General Board as Social Media Chair. While I wasn’t studying for exams and keeping a fraternity house from burning down, I spent my time hiking, fishing, and cooking.
I have been cooking since I was a kid. In fact, I love cooking so much, that instead of pursuing politics or Middle Eastern geopolitics, I’m going to culinary school. In June of 2016, I’m moved out, relocated to Manhattan and began attending the Insitute For Culinary Education (I.C.E.) to pursue my love for food. With the internet and social zeitgeist abundant with an attractive woman talking about benefits of vegan-raw diets laden with avocado and kale trying to change the world or hipsters in beards and covered in tattoos trying to change our literal understanding of what food means, you will find me, cutting through the bullshit.
I love food. To me, writing for me has never really been about the “my life story”, it’s a blog, its a form of expression, an internal conversation I can share with others. Sometimes they are short and sweet and other times they are long and drawn out but what they all are a peak inside my process in a way that should make you both enjoy your food more, learn more about yourself and take a break from everything around because life is hard. Sometimes you just need some good recipes, food tips and restaurants insights to satisfy your appetite through taste and thoughts.
Welcome to DEVOUR, you gotta try this…
